Setting Up Ventrilo

To set up Ventrilo on your computer you should follow the steps below:

1. Go to http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php and download the 'Client program' which is suitable for your computer.
2. Once the program is downloaded install the program and open it.
3. Where it says 'User Name' go across the row to where the arrow image '->' is and click on it.
4. Press the 'New' button and then fill in the name you wish to use, generally this will be your characters name, once that is done click 'OK'
5. Where it says 'Server' go across the row to where the arrow image '->' is and click on it.
6. Press 'New' then fill in the server details as are shown below (note the Password is shown at the top of this page)
   
7. Click on 'OK' and now click 'Connect'

Congratulations you're now connected to the Virtue Ventrilo server.

If you're having any issues with your sound whether it be hearing audio or speaking to the other players you can access the configuration window by clicking on 'Setup'. Some of these functions can be advanced but if you use Google to find guides etc you will often find some very useful information.
